Typography

Public Sans for everything; Roboto Mono for data values. Public Sans is the U.S. Web Design System typeface — a deliberately USDA-adjacent choice that reads as quiet credibility to the NRCS conservationists who are this tool's primary users.

Weights

Public Sans ships standard weights, so the theme re-points the hub's weight tokens: 400 / 500 / 600 / 700 replace DM Sans's variable-font 350 / 450 / 550 / 650. Components that read --font-weight-* get the right optical weight on either face; never hard-code a DM Sans weight number in this spoke.
